  • Supporting continuity across technical planning, team structure, and project execution.

Software Engineering Team Lead

Sep. 2024 — Aug. 2026

Led the software engineering effort for a student-built 3U CubeSat mission studying space weather.

Scene Notes

  • Led a 5-person software engineering team evaluating and prototyping fault-tolerant CubeSat software architectures.
  • Investigated Linux, MCU, and hybrid onboard-computing platforms alongside Cube-OS and KubOS.
  • Explored watchdog recovery, distributed subsystems, and resilient communications.
  • Led development of AUStronauts' in-house Next.js and React web platform.
  • Translated multidisciplinary engineering requirements into an accessible public-facing product.

Business Team Lead — Sponsorships & Acquisitions, Marketing

Sep. 2025 — Aug. 2026

Honours Thesis — TCC360

Sep. 2025 — Aug. 2026

Developed clinician-facing software for TCC360, the next evolution of the TeleClinical Care virtual-care platform.

Scene Notes

  • Re-engineered TCC's clinical CarePlan architecture to support modular, scalable, and interoperable workflows.
  • Preserved historical clinical records through standards-based FHIR resources.
  • Designed and implemented a working clinician-facing CarePlan prototype.
  • Supported care-plan customisation, patient monitoring, scheduling, messaging, and AI-assisted insights.
  • Applied iterative user-centred design to reduce navigation and cognitive burden.
  • Integrated a clinician-controlled AI assistant with persistent FHIR-based conversation history.

Dial4242 Ambulances

Remote

Software Engineering Intern

Dec. 2025 — Feb. 2026

Built machine-learning and analytics tools for ambulance demand forecasting and operational decision support.

Scene Notes

  • Built and evaluated an XGBoost demand-forecasting pipeline using temporal, historical, and geographic features.
  • Predicted next-day ambulance demand across low-volume regional operations.
  • Developed two decision-support dashboards spanning forecasting and operational analytics.
  • Surfaced KPIs, historical trends, and regional demand patterns for daily operations.
  • Evaluated LLM-based forecasting against traditional machine-learning approaches.
  • Used the comparison to inform the final modelling direction for sparse spatio-temporal demand.
