Notes on Divakar
The work
I'm a software engineer interested in the point where engineering, product thinking and interaction design meet. I like working on systems where the technical decisions are inseparable from how the person on the other side actually experiences the product.
The range
That has taken me from healthcare technology and machine learning to web products, embedded systems and a CubeSat team — with storytelling, visual design and film somehow continuing to find their way into the process.
Leadership
I've led software work within UNSW's AUStronauts program and served as Project Design Lead for MasterAQ, where I helped shape and build the product from concept through to its MVP.
Beyond the screen
Before software became the main thing, cricket was a large part of my life. I represented Singapore at youth level and Goa at age-group level, experiences that taught me a lot about competition, teamwork and taking responsibility inside a group. I recently graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours, First Class) in Sofware Engineering.
